UTAs spend approximately 8-10 hours per week on the course for which they are UTAing. Specific responsibilities are to be determined by each UTA-instructor pair before and throughout the semester.

Standard 3-credit courses meet for 150 minutes per week, which leaves about 6-7 hours per week for out-of-class work.
